Episode 1: What is Lexicomedy!?

Image
(Click on the link for Previous Introductory Episode ) Episode 1 :   What is Lexicomedy? If you search for Lexicomedy in a dictionary, or even on the internet; you are likely to be disappointed. You won't find it there. Not yet. The word has been suggested by this humble blogger, who has spent a lifetime borrowing thousands of words, quite shamelessly, from dictionaries of every persuasion. It seemed only fair, before bidding farewell to the world of blogging—or perhaps merely to good sense—to return the favour by gifting at least one word back.    The Cockroaches  (A note for new Readers: You may wish to read about the Four Characters of Lexicomedy to have an idea of this read only Web Series: Lexicomedy.) A Scurry Through the Lexicomedy Universe: The  Cockroaches   officially scurried into the Lexicomedy Universe in Episode 10 through Legsy Suroor . Love them, loathe them, or reach for the nearest broom, you may still find something worth taking home from the descriptions accompanying these episodes. After all, even cockroaches can occasionally leave behind food for thought! So far, the  Cockroaches have issued eight prestigious citations , each accompanied by its own carefully concocted anagram and pictorial evidence, to an assortment of...

Finally a Web Series to read

Web Series with a difference. For People Who Still Read. If your brain cells are currently begging for mercy after the daily barrage of Good Morning roses and lotuses, hyperactive reels, forwarded wisdom, unsolicited—but invariably very important—political/ religious sermons and  formulaic web series' ; you have finally found your sanctuary. Welcome ! This is a place for word-nerds, language lovers, compulsive punsters, anagram addicts , and anyone who occasionally feels that words are being wasted on serious things. Here, they will be put to completely unnecessary use. And that brings us to the rather misleading name of this enterprise:  A Web Series . The great advantage of this only kind of Web Series is that you can read it . You can sneak into it almost anywhere, anytime. While waiting at Jantar Mantar for your free Burger-Pizzas to be delivered. While getting bored in a mundane one hundred and fourteenth meeting in a year on educational reforms. While being ...
